There are so many new small businesses popping up in the area! I am headed out to try and visit as many as possible, but with 3 kids in tow, it’s not always possible for me to see everyone in person.

This local woman-owned, small business, opened a few weeks ago and has lots of variety for the whole family. They support new authors and offer local community events for book lovers! We got to check them out this week and meet the owner Sydney! It’s a fun cozy space with lots of little nooks to check-out throughout.

💸 Local Deals

Incredible Pizza- This local business has daily deals but the biggest bang for your buck is a free buffet and drinks on Tuesdays when you purchase a $20 game card. This is fun for the whole family! Check their website for other daily deals they offer!

🌳 Outdoor Spotlight

Scotts Ridge Swimming Area- This is a federal run park with very minimal bathrooms, picnic tables, a boat launch and a roped off swimming area. There aren’t really any trails connected to the swim area and it really is just a small parking lot, few tables and little sandy beach area. It’s a fun visit, there is a fee per car to enter!

📍 Give Back To Our Community

Jace Anderson BBQ Benefit- This benefit is supporting local Constable Brittany Anderson and her family. Her 16-month-old son Jace Anderson, suddenly passed away in April of this year. The Sheriff’s Office is selling BBQ sandwiches and chops for $10 to help support this family in their time of grief.

This local woman-owned small business is run by a local Mom. She makes all kinds of sweet treats and is known for her Biscoff cheesecakes. I tried her Biscoff cinnamon rolls this weekend and they were so good! She does discounts and deals often so follow her on Facebook to snag something! You can pick-up or arrange local delivery!
